Berlin EUnity Conference 2025

On 24 and 25 July 2025, Berlin became the meeting point for student leaders and education activists from across Europe.

EUnity Conference 2025 gathered young people to discuss education, mobility, and the role of Ukraine in European space. Over two days, participants shared ideas, debated solutions, and experienced the true spirit of unity.

Day 1: Shared Past, Present, and Cultural Connections

The opening day focused on the shared past and present between Ukraine and the EU. Participants explored historical ties, addressed the pressing challenges of Ukrainian higher education, and uncovered opportunities for deeper cooperation. A central theme was student mobility: understanding barriers and jointly creating solutions for more accessible exchange.

The day ended with Ukrainian Night, a vibrant cultural event filled with music, warmth, and authentic connections. It reminded everyone that culture is one of the strongest bridges of understanding.

Day 2: Practical Experience and Policy Making

The second day turned into practical experience. A full EU Simulation Session at the Europa Experience Centre allowed participants to step into the shoes of decision makers. During the Policy Lab, youth teams designed forward looking policies in education and mobility to support the recovery of Ukraine.

Networking at the Partnership Cafe provided space for real collaborations, while ESN Talks gave a platform to present bold ideas. The conference wrapped up with hope, strong hugs, and the clear conviction that young people are driving change.
