ESN Ukraine is a non-profit, national-level student organization that represents local Erasmus Student Network sections across the country. Today, our active and resilient network unites sections in Kyiv, Chernivtsi, Lviv, and Odesa.

Our Mission:
To facilitate the development of the Ukrainian youth sector on its path to the EU, implementing the best international educational practices and representing the interests of our youth on the international stage.

Our Vision:
Ukraine as a popular destination for international mobility, and Ukrainian youth as an active, conscious, and integrated part of the European community.

Our Focus Today

In the face of modern challenges, our focus has evolved. While we historically dedicated our efforts to welcoming international students, our primary goal today is to empower our own generation.

Guided by the core principle of Students Helping Students, we provide Ukrainian students with opportunities for cultural understanding, self-development, and European integration. We actively share information about Erasmus+ programs, foster international partnerships, and maintain a strong nationwide alumni network.

Our History and Growth

Our journey began when ESN Kyiv became an official member of the Erasmus Student Network on June 2nd, 2019 (celebrating its founding roots on September 23rd, 2018). Initially starting by taking care of international students at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the network quickly expanded to other major universities in the capital.

The momentum continued when ESN Chernivtsi — initiated by representatives from Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University and Bukovinian State Medical University — officially joined the network during the Autumn General Assembly in 2021.

Since then, ESN Ukraine has grown from its founding sections into a nationwide family. We continue to expand our impact, united by the courage to drive positive change and build a strong European future for Ukraine. #ESNukraine
